Tell him to stop in Leavenworth, WA for a neat surprise. It’s a Bavarian village in the Cascade mountains. It’s so weird it’s great.

I was visiting my friend in Boston last fall and went for a run to explore the city a little. In west coast fashion, I said hello, waved, nodded, smiled, or etc. at other people doing fitness. After 3 people gave me a what the eff is wrong with you glare, I remembered
I was in the NE and didn’t have to be nice to anyone. It was actually kind of great to have the expectation to not be outgoing.

Tell him to take the South Dakota route. Drive through the Badlands and see Mt. Rushmore! I’ve only seen a small piece of North Dakota and I’m not convinced there’s much to see there.

Huh. I do accounts payable for three different companies in Seattle, one of them being a bakery (mostly bread, mostly wholesale).
